Time for Us

My fiance and I don't fancy an expensive honeymoon abroad like Paris, Italy, Rome or other European country. Though I love to travel, we both want to explore Philippines more than any place else abroad. Here's a list of places we are eyeing for.

Palawan Exploration

Palawan is called “The Philippines’ Last Frontier”. The only Philippine island cited, is rated by National Geographic Traveler magazine as the best island destination in East and Southeast Asia region in 2007, and the 13th best island in the world having incredibly beautiful natural seascapes and landscapes. One of the most biodiverse (terrestrial and marine) islands in the Philippines. The island has had a Biosphere Reserve status since early 1990s, showing local interest for conservation and sustainable development.

Puerto Galera is found in the northwestern-most part of Oriental Mindoro. It is known as the Pearl of Mindoro. It has world-beach resorts, coral reefs and beautiful dive sites. It is said to be the less populated version of Boracay. Galera is one of the top diving destinations and snorkelling spots in the country. Two of the most popular beaches in Puerto Galera are Sabang Beach and White Beach. Sabang beach is the main destination for foreign tourists, while White Beach remains popular with local travelers.
